Hadley Registry Records Dozen Deeds as Top Sale Reaches $570,000

Twelve deeds recorded at the Hampshire County Registry between July 24 and Aug. 22 show a sale-price range of $50,000 to $570,000 among the five transactions that disclosed a price, with a median of $175,000. The period's top sale was 115 West St. at $570,000. Seven of the 12 recorded deeds, including two Hampshire College-to-Town of Hadley transfers and several homestead and release filings, carried no listed price. Three of the five disclosed sales named a bank or lending entity as buyer rather than an individual. With most prices undisclosed, the data does not support a clear read on overall market tone this period.
