HADLEY — The Hadley Conservation Commission approved a request for determination of applicability for 71 Russell Street and continued a hearing on 347 Russell Street to August 14. Commissioner Gordon Smith moved to accept the RDA after the applicant returned with amended plans showing sill heights for cellar windows to address stormwater concerns raised at a prior meeting. Ray Mieczkowski seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
No one appeared for the 347 Russell Street hearing, prompting the continuance. Commissioners said the building department's David Waskiewicz had reviewed the 71 Russell Street project. The meeting adjourned after a motion by Smith, seconded by Mieczkowski, with one member saying, "Can't get into the laptop," before deferring action on the minutes.
