HADLEY — The Hadley Community Preservation Committee approved a $60,000 revenue projection and $13,400 in committee costs for Town Meeting. The panel voted 7-0 twice: once to raise its fiscal 2027 set-aside projection from $50,000 after the state Department of Revenue flagged Hadley's reserves as too low, and once to fund $8,400 in Land Use Coordinator Kayla Lubriel's CPA-funded payroll plus $5,000 in committee expenses. A 6-0 vote clawed back $937.30 from a finished Town Hall pillars project and $150.73 from a completed deed conservation project.
Friends of Lake Warner President Brian Pearson sought $10,000 for a phosphorus-treatment plan, saying the lake "can't really launch a boat" by midsummer; the committee deferred a formal vote to March 2 after an informal straw poll showed support.
