Hadley Select Board raises acting town administrator's stipend to $3,000 bi-weekly

HADLEY — June 26, 2025 — Hadley Select Board raises acting town administrator's stipend and ratifies two union contracts. The three-member board, meeting via Zoom on June 26 with Acting Chair Molly Keegan presiding in the regular chair's absence, unanimously approved a bi-weekly stipend increase to $3,000 for Mike Mason, who is simultaneously serving as acting town administrator and police chief, effective July 1, 2025. The board also voted 3-0 to ratify collective bargaining agreements for the municipal employees union, Local 424, Division 129, and the public works employees union, Local 424, Division 108, following a closed executive session covering four bargaining units. No contract terms were disclosed in open session. The police union and dispatch union, also named as subjects of the executive session, did not have agreements ratified at this meeting.
