HADLEY — April 27, 2026 — Hadley Select Board schedules June 2 special election for two Proposition 2½ override questions totaling $2.35 million. The board voted 4-0 at a brief April 27 special meeting — with member Amy Parsons absent — to hold the election at the Hadley Senior Center, 46 Middle Street, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Question 1 asks voters to authorize an additional $850,000 annually for the fire department, police department, and schools in fiscal year 2027. Question 2 asks for an additional $1.5 million for general municipal operating expenses covering public safety, schools, public works, and other town services in fiscal year 2027. The two questions are on separate lines, allowing voters to approve or reject each independently.
